🎮 How to Play (For Students)

Print this out or show it on a projector before the game!

🎯 1. Goal

Work with your posse to answer all questions correctly and win the trail showdown.

⚙️ 2. Setup

🤠
🤠
🤠
🤠

Four players sit in a plus (+) shape:

North, South, East, West – all facing inward.

  • Each player has a Chromebook and joins the same game code.
  • Choose a team name for your posse.

🎮 3. How to Play

AQuestion Appears

  • • A question or term appears on everyone's screen at the same time.
  • • Each cowboy sees a different set of answer choices or clues.

BTalk First, Click Second

  • • Players must talk to each other before anyone clicks.
  • • Share what you see on your own screen.
  • • As a group, decide who has the correct answer on their Chromebook.

CMake the Match

The player who the group thinks is correct clicks their answer.

✅ If it's RIGHT:

Your posse moves one step forward on the trail and the next question appears.

❌ If it's WRONG:

Your posse is pushed back (or the trail resets, depending on the game mode).

🏆 4. Scoring & Winning

+1 point / step for each correct answer.

🥇

The posse that reaches the finish line first wins the showdown!

📜 5. Posse Rules

🗣️

No silent clicking. You must talk so the whole group understands the answer.

🤝

Help your partners – the goal is to survive the trail together.

💛

Be respectful. No putting down teammates for a wrong answer.

💡 Pro Tips

📣 Communication is Key

Talk to your teammates! Describe what you see without saying the exact word. "I have something about a type of government..."

🎯 Be Specific

When describing definitions, give unique details that help narrow it down. Generic descriptions slow you down!

👥 Split Roles

Have some teammates focus on reading terms while others listen for matching definitions. Teamwork makes the dream work!

⚡ Move Fast

It's a race! Once you find a match, submit it quickly and move on. Every second counts in the Wild West!

🎪 Bonus Mini-Games

While waiting for your teammates or between rounds, enjoy our flappy bird game! 🐦
